Beatnic was honored, along with others in the Reebok Certified Network, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of Reebok’s low top trainer, the Classic Leather. Inspired by British camo, our shoe switched the traditional camo into a splattered paint motif with mini BTNC logos within the splatter and an orange lining to represent our hometown of Fullerton and to pay homage to our original logo.
At times we find it our role to lend a hand to our regular customers in their pursuit of their dreams. We were happy to be the first to carry Bloodbath to support our very own customer and fellow Fullerton local. The BTNC x Bloodbath Hoodie was designed to reinforce our relationship.
Being part of the Reebok Certified Network, Beatnic was blessed to pay homage to the classic Reebok Workout Plus for the shoe’s 25th anniversary. Wanting to create a shoe that would represent both Reebok and Beatnic ideals and to reflect our start, we turned to the first Reebok Pump Fury color way for inspiration. We felt that the Pump Fury was, and still is, one of the most iconic shoes for Reebok; in so choosing to take the Pump Fury’s original and most iconic color way and fusing it together with the Workout.
Ebbets Field Flannels, a Made in America company based in Seattle, brings a rush of nostalgic feelings when it comes to vintage baseball jerseys and caps, plus having a reputation of exposing the unknown and underground baseball history out to the public. Partnering up with EFF for our baseball cap, we gathered inspiration from two historic events in American history, Jack Kerouac’s On the Road and the Dodgers moving from Brooklyn to Los Angeles.
